New Powerful Automation Rules
Soffront lives up to its reputation as the most
flexible CRM available. A new powerful automation
rule engine gives the administrator complete control
over CRM automation. Create rules through an UI
driven process based on a record's status or
workflow. Create rules based on complex conditions
and set it up to trigger based on an action. The
three types of automation rules supported are "On
Arrival", "On Update" and "On Condition" of a
record.
Enhanced Calendaring and Group Scheduling
Calendar enhancements include support for multiple
user time zones. Create group activities and invite
users and contacts. The invitees get an email
notification to accept or decline the invitation.
Improved calendar personalization options include the
ability to display calendar items vertically or
horizontally. Calendar access can be configured at
the user group level.
Recurring Activities and Opportunities
Soffront 8.7 reduces user time and increases
profitability by introducing the ability to setup recurring
opportunities and activities in daily, weekly,
monthly, and yearly patterns.
Reporting Enhancements including Report Scheduling
New report scheduler allows users to schedule their
reports to be generated and emailed to employees.
Reports can be sent as an attachment, downloadable
link or web link (for graphic reports).
Soffront graphical reporting engine now uses Adobe
flash technology for better performance. Several new
graph types like funnel has been added.
Text reports now show totals for integer, float and
converted currency fields. New Workflow report
helps to track state progression for a record with
options to filter by day, month or year.
The Project Management module introduces a powerful gantt chart report.
Superior Assignment Rules
Soffront's powerful assignment engine gets better with
two new assignment types - "Round Robin" and "Even
Load". This version also introduces support for
database stored procedures to allow complex
assignment conditions.
New Google Map integration
A tight integration with Google map helps to
quickly locate a customer or contact site in the familiar Google map interface.
Enhanced Campaign Management
Soffront's best-in-class campaign management module
comes with a leaner, more streamlined workflow. More
choices to create email campaign messages - HTML
Editor, Rich Text Editor and the ability to upload
message content directly from a HTML file.
Template Driven Notification Rules
Soffront 8.7 lets you associate an email template with
a notification rule and personalize the notification
verbiage. Notification rules can be setup for child
objects of a main object (e.g., create a
notification rule on ticket to notify linked
contacts on ticket updates).
Significant Email Enhancements
Email enhancements in 8.7 include support for
secured IMAP protocol (Soffront already supports
secured POP) in both inbox and email response rule.
The user will have the option to move emails to
available IMAP folders from the Soffront Inbox. The
user will be able to save emails as either emails or
notes, search-and-link any records against the
email, and edit activities on the fly while saving
emails.
CRM Portal Enhancements
Soffront's widely popular CRM portal offers more
configuration and personalization options in this version.
Customize the fields in the portal ticket submit
form without writing a single line of code.
Configure which objects (e.g., notes, solutions,
etc) to show against a ticket. Your customers will
be able to
save their ticket information in a variety of
formats. Configure template driven notification
rules for the portal and setup auto-responders and
status notifications for your customers.
Latest Outlook Integration
Soffront's widely popular Outlook Integration now
includes seamless support for the latest Outlook
version 2007.
Comprehensive Import Tool
Improved import tool offers
better duplicate resolution and auto assignment of
records.
Web Based System Administration
In this version, administrative tasks like project
creation, Server registration and License setup can
be done over the web.
Advanced Application Security
The administrator can set a password expiry time for all users. On expiry, the user will be
prompted to reset their password when they log in.
