Soffront CRM Architecture

Zero footprint web browser
Soffront CRM is completely web based and operates from your browser. You access the application just as you would access a web site like amazon.com. There is no code required at the client. No need to download a plug-in or an applet. Standard browser access using open technologies like HTTP/XML provides you all the functionality.

Mobile accesss
The Soffront mobile solution extends the core CRM application to the field. Get Read-Write access to the CRM application using a Palm powered PDA or a WAP enabled cell phone / Pocket PC. Use a laptop in a ‘disconnected’ (without internet connection) mode and synchronize later when at office.

3-layered architecture
The business logic is clearly delineated from the user interface and the data layers. The CRM application server does all the business logic, transactions and session management. The database is accessed only through the server.

Single integrated CRM application
All modules are inherently integrated with each other. The complete breadth of CRM functions spanning sales, marketing, customer support, employee support, partner management, defect tracking and customer portal applications are integrated by design.

COM and external integration
Soffront CRM is built using the Microsoft Component Object Model. Soffront uses the same object model and API that is available for you to customize or integrate with external applications.

Database
A single repository holds all data generated across various customer touch points. The databases supported include Oracle, MS SQL Server and Sybase.

Flexible phased delivery
While the modules are pre-integrated, you have the flexibility to start with what you need now and activate the rest when you need them.

Release independent customization
The customizations done at installation and over the years are preserved when you upgrade. There is no need to rework them.
