Another quarter has passed.  During this quarter, we found, business conditions improved significantly but customers expected a high return on investment (ROI). We have benefited from this! We had a profitable quarter and we are looking forward to the next quarter with great optimism.

We have added 20 new customers during this quarter. Many  selected our full CRM suite - from sales to marketing to customer service. A fully integrated CRM solution is a winner! It helps you to manage your campaigns, distribute your leads, follow your sales process, and provide service to your customers using all touch points - email, live chat, web and phone calls. Our solution continues to provide the best ROI to our CRM customers by reducing costs, increasing revenues and earning customer loyalty.

I am  glad to share with you that HP has awarded Soffront the 'Certificate of Vendor Appreciation'  to recognize our outstanding customer service.

In the products side, we released version 7.0.0.1 early this month  to our customers worldwide. This release offers many requested features and resolves a few issues. I invite you to upgrade to this latest version. If you are using versions prior to 7.0, please contact your Soffront account/support representative, or your Soffront partner/reseller at your earliest convenience. Upgrading to the latest version will ensure faster response to all of your queries.

Close more leads

Question:  
How do I define the default submenu for a group?

Answer:

1. In the Setup User Groups box, click the 'Sub Menus' button
2. From the resulting Setup Sub Menu box, select the User Group for whom you want to specify the sub-menu. For example, if you have an User Group called Sales you can select that.
3. Select the Table for which you want the sub-menu. For example, you can select Accounts if you want to specify a sub-menu for Accounts.
4. The 'Available Items' list box below, will now show the queries and reports that are available for 'Accounts'. Select a query or report from the Available items box and add it to the 'Selected items' list. You can add more than one query or report to the 'Select items' list. 
5. Click the 'Save' button
6.The selected queries/reports will now reflect in the sub-menu for that table and group


Tip
1. The sub-menu provides one-click access to the favorite queries and reports. You users can access the queries/reports, without worrying about the details behind them. For example, your sales force can access queries for common tasks like 'Today's activities', 'My new leads', 'My funnel' through the sub menu for the Sales group.

2. Sub-menus guide your new users to perform the expected actions, thereby shortening the learning curve.

HP awards Soffront

HP awarded Soffront Software, Inc the 'Certificate of Vendor Appreciation'. This is in recognition of the outstanding teamwork, service and support Soffront provided to HP during their upgrade from our LAN-based version to our Web-based version. 

The upgrade was challenging because HP was upgrading from an older version to the latest version 7.0, leapfrogging multiple versions. The project was delivered successfully,  with minimal interruptions to the users.


Soffront CRM version 7.0.0.1 released

Soffront released an incremental upgrade to Version 7.0. Besides addressing issues in the 7.0 release, this version provides a higher degree of customization and configuration. For example,

  • Create 'Conditional' required fields to enforce   business rules. To illustrate, you want your support rep to fill in the billing rate and billing hours, only if the customer is on an incident based support plan.

  • Invoke ASP pages when you click on New, Edit or View from a child object. You no longer must invoke only the sub-forms within the Soffront CRM. This gives the ability to seamlessly integrate with other software applications.

  • Replace values in a field across all records using the new 'Global Replace' feature. This feature is available only for Admins

Other new 7.0.0.1 features include:

  • Full Account object access as a Help Desk module user.

  • Ability to print query results by the touch of a button.

Execute targeted campaigns

Create and execute targeted e-mail campaigns, with Soffront Marketing. The e-mail Campaign Manager creates text or HTML messages. Personalize the messages using ‘mail merge’ fields and target it to section of your database with filter queries. Create and run queries to identify possible cross-sell and up-sell opportunities in your customer base. For example, an entertainment company can identify customers who purchased a CD title and target a campaign offering them a new title.

Soffront Marketing provides a closed loop system to continuously measure and improve ROI from campaigns. Manage all campaign information in one place. The person responsible, start date, end date, cost and the external contact persons are available for easy reference. Key documentary evidence like contracts can also be attached to the campaign.
