Announcing TRACKWeb CRM 7.0

Soffront Software announced the release of version 7.0 of its popular TRACKWeb CRM product.  Soffront CRM is a single application consisting of several tightly integrated modules including: internal and external help desk management (TRACKWeb Help Desk), sales force and marketing automation (TRACKWeb Sales), asset management (TRACKWeb Assets) and self-service knowledge management (TRACKWeb KMS) applications.  Customers can purchase only the modules that they currently need, with the option of activating the others when or if they are required.

Soffront's products are known for being the most customizable and easy to use in the industry.  Continuing that legacy, version 7.0 contains several new features designed to improve a customer's bottom line and increase profitability.

"The focus of this version is to provide our customers with the tools they need to conduct their business more efficiently, enjoy a quick return on investment (ROI), and earn loyalty with their customers," says Manu Das, the founder and President of Soffront.

Another focus of 7.0 is to speed up the deployment process.  "Soffront currently offers a two-week installation guarantee, the shortest time in the CRM industry," says Mr. Das.  "We wouldn't be able to offer such an extraordinary guarantee without further improving our product, the installation process, and the ease of customization."

Introducing TimeTrak

We are excited to announce a new TRACKWeb feature!

TimeTrak is used to track the time spent by technical support personnel to close a ticket. It can also calculate each ticket's total invoice amount. TimeTrak is also used to calculate the time spent by developers and quality assurance personnel to fix bugs. It calculates the total hours spent on each bug.

TimeTrak is located within Tickets as a child object. This is displayed with the default project.
When a technician wants to work on a ticket, they click the New icon in the Time Track child object menu. A window opens with Start Date & Time, End Date & Time and Comments fields. The technician clicks Start Date &Time, with the current time stamp, and begins work. The technician can click Save or minimize the window while working. This starts tracking the time the technician spends on the problem.

When the work is completed, the technician either opens or maximizes the window and enters the End Date & Time. The Buddy button allows Calendar access. When the completed time is entered, the technician clicks Save.

The Total invoice amount, located at the bottom right of Details, calculates the expense by referencing the hourly rate from the Employee table and multiplying it by the hours worked. This works for multiple entries.

TimeTrak feature is also available under Defects and works basically the same way as a child object.
