Upcoming Feature - TRACKWeb Enhanced Version Control

Soffront now offers an enhanced form of version control tool for effective maintenance of software project files.

Let's suppose, in an organization, a team of ten software developers are working on a project. They need a method to effectively maintain huge amount of data and documentation. TRACKWeb previously had an asp based implementation to connect to Microsoft VSS and handle such a scenario.

Now with growth, the organization has increased its number of employees and diversified into multiple locations. TRACKWeb now has an ActiveX control acting as an efficient interface between TRACKWeb and VSS.

Soffront CRM Q&A 


Question: I have legacy data in both MS Access and DBase. Can I import those in TRACKWeb easily?

Answer:
You can import data from diverse databases such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SQL Server, dBase, Oracle, Sybase and MySQL directly into TRACKWeb.

To do so,
1. Log into TRACKWeb.
2. Click Tools on the Task bar.
3. Under Import, click Import Records.
4. Follow the subsequent steps to select the file or DSN and the source and destination of data.
