Question: What are the license options provided by Soffront?

Answer:

Soffront offers its products with a choice of floating or dedicated licenses, or any combination of both.

Floating licenses: It is the number of users that can access the application simultaneously - irrespective of who logs in.

Dedicated licenses: These licenses are assigned to specific users and only those users can access the application.

Example:

If you purchase 2 dedicated and 5 floating licenses then in addition to the administrator, a total of 7 users can simultaneously access the application. The 2 dedicated licenses cannot be used by any other users except the two assigned, but 5 floating licenses can be used by any 5 users.

Issue tracking with Configuration Management integration

Soffront adds a new level of productivity and effectiveness to it's customer support and defect tracking applications by integrating Perforce Software’s Software Configuration Management (SCM) system with Soffront CRM.

The bi-directional integration allows users to work in the application with which they are most comfortable. Developers can work entirely within Perforce without having to switch to the defect tracker and re-enter data. In both environments, users can see relevant data related to source changes and their relation to change requests entered in the Soffront system.
