Question: I want a complete view of support tickets – at the Company level – similar to the way it shows in the contact level. Please note that there are one or more contacts for a Company.

Answer:
You can do this with the flexible Linking Rules available with TRACKWeb.

1. From Rules Setup, click Linking Rules.
2. Click the New button to create a New rule
3. Fill in the necessary information in the New Linking Rule page and click the OK button.

Module of the month - Soffront Outlook Sync

Synchronize your contacts, tasks and calendar in TRACKWeb with Microsoft outlook and vice-versa using Soffront Outlook Sync module and always stay synchronized.

Soffront Outlook Sync helps to synchronize the information between Microsoft-Outlook and Soffront CRM database. It is used to transfer data to and from Soffront CRM database and Microsoft Outlook.

There are three ways of performing the synchronization:

- From TRACKWeb to Microsoft Outlook
- From Microsoft Outlook to TRACKWeb
- Both directions


No matter where or which contact you modify, task you delete or calendar you edit; use Soffront Outlook Sync and find the reflection in TRACKWeb and Microsoft Outlook.

Soffront CRM Q&A 


Question: I need to create a query based on multiple tables. How do I do it?

Answer:
You can do this with the SQL Query functionality. TRACKWeb provides a simple GUI to create complex SQL queries with ‘Where’ conditions. Minimal SQL knowledge is required to create this powerful SQL query.

1. In TRACKWeb, click ‘Query Manager’ from any table/tab.
2. Click on the ‘New’ icon.
3. You will be prompted to select a query type. Select ‘SQL Query’ and click OK.
4. From the resulting interface, select the tables you want, specify the where clause and create a query involving multiple tables.

Soffront CRM Q&A 


Question: I am the helpdesk manager of my company. I want to view all submitted tickets in my dashboard. However, I want my Support Engineers to see only their assigned Tickets in their dashboard. How can I implement this?

Answer:

The powerful configurable features of TRACKWeb Gadget Manager let you specify different dashboard settings for different user groups.

1. Create a gadget for All tickets and assign it to your dashboard.
2. Create a gadget for My Tickets and assigned it to your Support Engineer's dashboard.
