Soffront Software, Inc. announced today that their customer, Diefendorf Capital Planning Associates (DCPA), was named the winner in the category of Efficiency in the 2010 Gartner & 1to1 Media CRM Excellence Awards, Americas region. Gartner & 1to1 Media are presenting the award during the Gartner Customer 360 Summit (June 28-30 in Los Angeles). DCPA (www.diefendorfcapital.com) is a financial management firm, located in Long Island, New York.
The Gartner & 1to1 Media CRM Excellence awards highlight innovative companies that impact value through their customer relationship strategy and demonstrates excellence in delivering the customer experience. A gold and silver award were given for each of five categories this year – Customer Experience, Efficiency, Enterprise-wide, Innovation, and Growth. A panel of judges that included Gartner analysts and other customer relations experts in business and academia were involved in judging each entry. DCPA was selected as the gold award winner in the Efficiency category. 1

According to the award criteria, judges evaluated and rated each entry based on how clearly the entrant demonstrated excellence in their CRM initiative. For the efficiency category, DCPA needed to demonstrate efficiency by reducing operational and interaction costs without a detrimental impact on the customer experience. Excellence in efficiency improvements in sales, marketing, and customer service were also considered. The criteria used in evaluating CRM Excellence Award entries included Gartner’s Eight Building Blocks of CRM: vision, strategy, valued customer experience, organizational collaboration, processes, information, technology and metrics.
